Common questions
What should I bring for a tax return?
Usually your income details, such as income statements, records of any other income, and records of expenses you plan to claim. We will confirm exactly what you need when we speak.
Why use a TPB tax agent?
TPB tax agents are registered with the Tax Practitioners Board and can prepare and lodge returns on your behalf. Ask us how this applies to your situation.
What is BAS?
A Business Activity Statement (BAS) is how many businesses report and pay amounts such as GST to the ATO. Whether you need one depends on how your business is registered.
When do I need to lodge?
Individual tax returns are generally due by 31 October. TPB tax agents may be able to offer later lodgement dates, and business deadlines vary. Check your dates with us.
How do your fees work?
Your first 30-minute consultation is free. After that, fees depend on the work involved, and we talk through the cost with you before any work starts.
